Mila Duran is a Colombian-born writer who moved to the United States at the age of sixteen. The Unshaped is her debut novel and the first in a psychological thriller series centered on realism, power, and survival.
When she couldn't find the sapphic thrillers she was looking for, she decided to write one herself. She is committed to portraying LGBTQ+ characters with authenticity and depth, bringing queer stories into a genre that rarely centers them.
Outside of writing, she has a deep love for animals. This series is her driving creative motivation.
